Ok. Technically Amazon Mudic is not "free". But if like me you pay for an Amazon Prime account for the shipping, free books and Prime Video, its darn close.
Amazon just announced an updated perk to Prime membership. You can now stream their entire catalog of 100 million songs at no extra cost! And, there are no advertisements. That is almost a $120 savings a year. More if you share your account with a family member.
What's the catch you ask?
You can ask Alexa to shuffle an artist or even a specific album. Plus there are hundreds of custom stations. The bonus is you can also download them for off line listening.
But. You knew that was coming, didn’t you? You can ask Alexa to play a specific song.
Is this a deal breaker?
For some not being able to choose a specific song makes this a non starter. For me, because I seldom choose a song this saves me some bucks. I can always find specific songs on YouTube.
